The Banner Operational Data Store, also known as Banner ODS, extracts information from the Banner and Degreeworks databases, reorganizes the information into a simplified format, and stores the information in the Banner ODS database. The reporting views and materialized views in the ODS database are used as the primary source for Banner data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
