LiveSafe Contact Information in General Self-Service

For Northeast Employees to be able to receive text messages from LiveSafe, our new Campus Alert system, you are required to have a phone type of Personal Cell Phone.  

You can confirm you have a “Personal Cell Phone” type or update your “Personal Cell Phone” number through your profile in General Self Service here:
https://generalssb-prod.ec.northeast.edu/BannerGeneralSsb/ssb/personalInformation 

 

If you have a Phone Number type of Personal Cell Phone, and the phone number is accurate, there is no further action needed.

​​​​​You DO NOT need to have your personal cell phone number marked as “Primary” to be able to get LiveSafe text message notifications.

 

If you need/want to add a Personal Cell Phone to your contact to receive text messages via LiveSafe, you can do this by following these steps: 

Click add New:

Choose Personal Cell Phone:

Enter your phone number and click add: ​​​​

This will get a personal cell phone number added to Banner and can start receiving text messages via LiveSafe the next day.

*If an employee absolutely cannot get it updated or added or has other information they want updated but cannot edit, please contact HR.
