The most common issue is students not knowing how to submit a video. Start a Zoom with the student and walk them through
the process
. If you have trouble or get stuck, escalate to the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
It’s common for there to be issues uploading. Kaltura needs a strong connection almost 100% of the time uploading. Do a speed test (
https://www.speedtest.net
) to verify their download/upload speeds. The only suggestion we can offer is to try where they have the best wifi signal or can plug in with ethernet. Feel free to record your findings and escalate to CELT. Alternative ways to share a video are to use the built-in Canvas tool or
OneDrive
(you will want to show the student how to upload and share the file via a link).
