AAHB-234 Classroom Technology Use

How to get Started:

  1. Power on and log in to the computer
  2. Turn on the projector(s) by clicking the blue, power button on the top left of the remote

When Completed:

  1. Sign out of the computer
  2. Turn off the projector(s) by clicking the blue, power button on the top left of the remote

Troubleshooting:

Projector Issues:

  • Display
    • Assure that the display source is set to HDMI 1
      • This can be done by cycling through the sources using the “Source Search” button on the top right of the remote
    • Assure that all the HDMI and DP cables are properly plugged into the computer
  • Audio
    • Assure that the projector isn’t muted by pressing the mute button on the remote and the speaker icon is not crossed out
  • Power
    • If pressing the power button the remote doesn’t work, go to the projector(s) and press the power button on the bottom of the projector

Computer Issues:

  • Display
    • Assure that the “Project” settings on the PC are set to “Extend” or “Duplicate”
      • This can be done by using the media center (the box with the Wi-Fi and speaker icons in it) in the bottom right of the screen OR press windows key + P to have the Project screen pop up

      • Click on the “Project” button
      • You can then select “Extend” or “Duplicate”
      • Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
        • “Extend” will have the projector(s) act as an additional monitor
        • “Duplicate" will duplicate one of the monitor screens
  • Audio
    • Assure that the speaker output on the computer is set to the projector
      • This can be done by clicking on the media center (the box with the Wi-Fi and speaker icons in it) in the bottom right corner of the computer screen

      • Click the “Sound Output” button next to the volume slider then select “Extron HDMI (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)”
