Summary
This article summarizes how to use the projectors in AAHB-234.
Body
How to get Started:
Power on and log in to the computer
Turn on the projector(s) by clicking the blue, power button on the top left of the remote
When Completed:
Sign out of the computer
Turn off the projector(s) by clicking the blue, power button on the top left of the remote
Troubleshooting:
Projector Issues:
Display
Assure that the display source is set to HDMI 1
This can be done by cycling through the sources using the “Source Search” button on the top right of the remote
Assure that all the HDMI and DP cables are properly plugged into the computer
Audio
Assure that the projector isn’t muted by pressing the mute button on the remote and the speaker icon is not crossed out
Power
If pressing the power button the remote doesn’t work, go to the projector(s) and press the power button on the bottom of the projector
Computer Issues:
Display
Assure that the “Project” settings on the PC are set to “Extend” or “Duplicate”
This can be done by using the media center (the box with the Wi-Fi and speaker icons in it) in the bottom right of the screen OR press windows key + P to have the Project screen pop up
Click on the “Project” button
You can then select “Extend” or “Duplicate”
“Extend” will have the projector(s) act as an additional monitor
“Duplicate" will duplicate one of the monitor screens
Audio
Assure that the speaker output on the computer is set to the projector
This can be done by clicking on the media center (the box with the Wi-Fi and speaker icons in it) in the bottom right corner of the computer screen
Click the “Sound Output” button next to the volume slider then select “Extron HDMI (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)”
