Process

To upload/record your video do the following:

(Please note – this must be completed from a web browser you CANNOT use the Canvas app to complete)

1. In your course, open the assignment or discussion. Click Start Assignment or Reply in a discussion.

2. In the RCE, click on the (2) My Media button (you may need to first click on (1) the 3 vertical dots).  You may need to click on the plug-in icon (A) and find the My Media button.

3. Click ADD NEW and select one of the following:
   1. Media Upload – to upload a video from your device that you’ve already recorded
   2. Express Capture or Webcam Recording – to record a video using your webcam
   3. Kaltura Capture – to record a video sharing your screen

4. After selecting Media Upload from the Add New menu, click Choose a file to upload or drag your media to the box.

5. After selecting your video to upload, (1) add a name for your video (required) and (2) add a description (optional). Wait for the (3) Upload Complete message, then (4) click Save and Embed.

6. Wait for the media to process. Once you see (1) the preview of your video appear, click (2) Submit Assignment or Post Reply.
