APPL-157 Classroom Technology Use

How to get Started:

• Log in to the PC
• Turn on the projector by clicking the power button on the left side of the panel on the SMARTBoard

To use the Document Camera:

• Power on the document camera
• Once powered on, click the button labeled “CAMERA / PC”
• Open the application “SMART Document Camera” on the PC
• The video should be displayed in the application

To use the SMARTBoard:

• The SMARTBoard can only be written on when the PC is set to Duplicate

When Completed:

• Sign out of the PC
• Turn off the projector by clicking the same power button used to turn it on
• Turn off the document camera by holding down the power button, if applicable

Troubleshooting:

PC Issues:

• Assure that the “Project” settings on the PC are set to “Duplicate”
• This can be done by using the media center in the bottom right of the screen
• The following provides an example of Windows 11
• Click on the media center icons

• This will open the media center, in which you can set the “Project” settings
• Click on the “Project” button

• After selecting the “Project” settings, you can select “Duplicate”
