Project Status Report:

SSC - CDL Building and Industrial Training Building (Phase I)

Summary:

• Contractor is working on completing the punch list.
• Certificate of Occupancy from the City of South Sioux City in the near future
• At the point of Substantial Completion of the CDL Building, as determined by the Architect, that means the facilities are sufficiently complete so the College can occupy or utilize the facility for its intended use,
• From Network and Infrastructure's end, AV can be completed shortly after Substantial Completion is obtained. ​​​​​​​
• Per Ed Lewis:
  • Most of our equipment is in storage in SSC that will need to be moved in and assembled.
    • He would like some help with some of the assembly and installation of some of the equipment and storage shelves/cabinets. 
  • TS will work with instructors on how and when the technology (phone and computer) will be transferred for Chris’ office.
  • Ed has contacted the installers of the simulator and the truck lifts. He will let us know how far out their schedules are.

1. Confirmation of "Substantial Completion" date
2. TS will complete AV installations within 5 days of substantial completion date
3. Physical Plant will work with Tim on assisting with installation of monitors
4. TS will work with instructors on office completion
5. Ed will work with Physical Plant to install remaining furniture/shelving
6. Ed will coordinate installation of simulator and truck lifts​​​​​​​
