Block a Phone Number in Cisco Call

Overview

If you're receiving unwanted calls through Cisco Call in Microsoft Teams, you can manually block specific phone numbers. Numbers added to your block list will no longer be able to reach you.

Steps to Block a Caller or Number

1. Open Cisco Call in Teams
   Launch Microsoft Teams, then open the Cisco Call app from the left-hand side.

2. Open Call Settings
   In Cisco Call, click the Call Settings icon usually located in the upper-right corner of the Cisco Call.

   

3. Navigate to Block List

   • In the Call Settings pop-up, click Calling on the left-hand menu.

   • Then select Block List.

     

4. Add Numbers to Block List

   • Click Add Number or similar option.

   • Enter the phone number you wish to block (include area code).

   • Click Add to add it to your personal block list.

     

✅ Once added, these numbers will no longer be able to call you through the Cisco Call system.

To Remove a Blocked Number

If you later decide to allow a number to contact you again:

1. Return to Call Settings > Calling > Block List.

2. Find the number you wish to unblock.

3. Check the checkbox next to the number and then click unblock and save.
