How to get Started:
- Log in to the computer
- Turn on the Samsung Interactive Display(s) by clicking the power button on the top left of the remote
To use the Document Camera:
- Power on the document camera
- Once powered on, click the icon on the document camera that looks like a laptop
- Open the “ELMO Interactive Toolbox” application that is on the desktop of the PC
To use the Samsung Interactive Display:
- Make sure the Display is Powered on
- Use Input "HDMI 2" to mirror PC Display or Use Input "OPS" to use the whiteboard feature
When Completed:
- Sign out of the computer
- Turn off the Samsung Interactive Display by clicking the power button on the top left of the remote
- Turn off the document camera by holding down the power button
Troubleshooting:
Samsung Interactive Display Issues:
- Display
- Assure that the display source is set to HDMI 2 to mirror PC Display or OPS for the whiteboard feature
- This can be done by cycling through the source input button on the remote
- Audio
- Assure that the Samsung Interactive Display isn’t muted by increasing the volume
- If you’re getting an audio feedback loop, make sure that the “ELMO Interactive Toolbox” app is muted
- This can be done by right clicking the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of the screen
- Select “Open Volume mixer” then click the speaker icon below ELMOInteractiveToolbox
- Power
- The Samsung Interactive Display goes to standby mode when no input signal has been detected after some time. Press the power button on the front face of the TV or on the Samsung Remote to power on the Interactive Display.
- Check the power rocker switch below the power cable.
Computer Issues:
- Display
- Assure that the Project settings on the computer are set to “Extend” or “Duplicate”
- For Extend, press Windows Key + P then click “Extend”

- For Duplicate, right click on the background of the desktop then click Display Settings

- Click on the monitor with 2 on it
- Click on the bottom right drop-down box and select “Duplicate desktop on 2 and 3”

- Select “Keep Changes” on the pop-up window
- Audio
- Assure that the Sound Output is set to the Samsung Interactive Display
- This can be done by clicking on the Media Center (button with the Wi-Fi and Sound icons in them)
- Click on the Sound Output button next to the volume slider
- Select “SAM (3- HD Audio Driver for Display Audio)”
