Student or faculty receive access denied message when viewing a Kaltura My Media video in Canvas.
Possible Causes
- Corrupted cache
- Third-party cookies not allowed
- Browser extension
Step-by-Step Solutions
- Have the student refresh the browser by pushing CTRL + F5 (on PC) or SHIFT + refresh button in the browser (on Mac).
- Clear cookies and cache for all time.
- Try Incognito.
- Try another browser, preferably one they don't use.
- Check for extensions, disabling one at a time and testing to determine which one.
- Make sure third-party cookies are allowed.
