Zoom Overview: How to Access and Use Zoom Effectively

All full‑time and part‑time Northeast Community College staff and faculty are provided with a Zoom account. This article explains how to get started with Zoom and includes links to useful Zoom resources and documentation.

Notable Zoom Features:

Start Using Zoom

  • Launch Zoom Workplace that’s on your computer.

  • Click the “SSO” button. 

Zoom Sign-in Page

  • If prompted, type “northeast” for the domain and click the “Continue” button. 

 

Sign in with SSO

  • You’ll need to enter your computer/email username and password and click the “Submit” button. 

 

Northeast Sign-in

  • Next, you’ll be directed to a page to launch the Zoom app.

  • The app will then launch and you can join or schedule a Zoom meeting
