Cisco Call in Teams - Access & Sign-in Instructions

✅ Before You Begin

Make sure:

  • You're signing in one your college provided Onedevice.

  • You're using the Microsoft Teams desktop app (not the web version in a web browser).

  • You’re connected to the internet (on-campus or offsite).

 

How to Sign In

  1. Open Microsoft Teams

    • Launch the "Teams" desktop app on your Onedevice.

    • Make sure you're signed in with your @northeast.edu email account.

Can’t Find Teams?

If you don’t see a Microsoft Teams icon on your taskbar or desktop, you can search for it:

  • Click the Start button (Windows icon) or tap the Search bar at the bottom of your screen.

  • Type "Teams" in the search box.

  • Click on the Microsoft Teams app in the search results (look for the purple icon above).

    • Optional: Right-click the app and choose Pin to taskbar for easier access next time.

Once You're Inside Teams

  1. Look for the Cisco Call App

    • On the left-hand sidebar, look for the Cisco Call icon.

    • If it’s not visible:

      • Click the Apps icon at the bottom of the sidebar.

      • Search for Cisco Call and click Add.

  2. Sign In to Cisco

    • Click the "Sign in" or "Continue" button to sign into Cisco Call.

    • If prompted by a pop-up, sign in using your Northeast email (user@northeast.edu).

  3. 911 & Emergency Calling
    • If prompted, accept the emergency calling notification pop-up.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
    • If prompted, add your emergency/911 location infromation - this information directs emergency services to your location in the event 911 is dialed from your Cisco Call / Webex Mobile client.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. ✅ You're in!

You’re ready to make and receive calls through Microsoft Teams using your Northeast phone number.
