Purpose
Showing users with access to a shared mailbox how to see the quarantined messaged for that shared mailbox
Scope
This knowledge base applies to any user that has full read and manage access to a shared mailbox
Procedures
Note: User needs to have full read and manage access to the shared mailbox. If they don't have access and need it, please fill out this form - Request Form - Request Access to a Shared Email Account (northeast.edu)
- Navigate to https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine. You should be automatically signed in with Single Sign-On. If you are not signed in, sign in with your northeast email and password (not the shared mailbox address).
- Click the filter button

- Filter recipient address by the shared mailbox address > Apply

- As long as you have correct access to the shared mailbox, you will be able to see any messages that are in quarantine for that mailbox.

- To release a message from quarantine, select the box on the right of the email > Release
